Dr. Welch graduated from Colgate University with a B.S. in Biology with honors in Microbiology and received a M.S. in Microbiology from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute. He received his M.D. degree from Albany Medical College with honors and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Welch served as an internal medicine resident at Albany Medical Center Hospital and completed his dermatology residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC.
Dr. Welch has been in practice in Providence for 20 years. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Brown University. Dr. Welch is also a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Welch primarily sees patients with skin cancer in his general dermatology practice. He also sees both new and established patients for cosmetic treatments with Laser, Photodynamic Therapy, Botox®, Restylane®, Cosmoderm® and collagen fillers.
Mark Trott is a nationally certified Physician’s Assistant, having graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters degree in Health Professions. He is also a graduate from the University of Maine with a B.A. degree in Zoology and has a MBA from Bryant College.
Mark has over 20 years experience in primary care and specialty medicine. He joined the practice in 2000. Mark is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Rhode Island Academy of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and a member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
